My name is Cathy and I am the owner of Cates Closet an online boutique along with my “co-worker” Allison. We are a small business family owner and operated out of Minooka, Illinois. The name was chosen after my daughter Allison Cate but not only was it chosen after her she was my inspiration for creating Cates Closet and yes it stated in our very own closets. I am originally from Texas and moved to the Midwest about 7 years ago. My husband, Paul, who is originally from Joliet is self-employed here so made sense for us to move. How we met is another story for another time. I am a mom to 3, bonus mom to 3 and a wife. I guess you could say we are like the brady bunch without the maid. Ha Shopping with me not only provides you with trendy and quality clothing but also helps me provide for my sweet family!
The most important part of having my business is not just providing clothing but customer service. We believe it is key! We strive to provide excellent service to each of you every time! Whether you shop on my website, VIP group, social media sites or in person we want you to leave knowing that you are not just another person you are now a valued customer. We want to wish you a happy birthday, anniversary, thinking of you and getting to know each of you personally is important to us. It may be by email, messaging, or texting but we always want you to know you are important.
The other excitement to our madness is providing hand picked clothing for each of you ladies because we want you to feel good and be comfortable in what you are wearing without the hassle of spending time shopping or putting an outfit together. So finding stylish clothing that is easy to pair and throw on for those crazy days when having time to ourselves is almost never but also providing that next outfit for date night or business meeting. We want your experience to be simple, easy but most importantly we want you to love your pieces purchased from Cates Closet Boutique! After all, it’s all about Building a bold and confident YOU!
We continue and we are beyond thankful. We have been blessed to give back to our community and hope to continue. So far we have donated to Pink Heels of Joliet, Chanooka Wishes, Grapevine Missions, Feeding local families through the Village Christian Church, Shorewood hugs, We Care, and Breaking Away just to name a few. We are also sending what we call "blessing packages" to ladies locally, outside our community and back to my hometown. This is not possible without your support!
